The Preschool Alphabet Finger Mitts Set comes with the following:
|
-26 capital letter felt figures
-26 lower case letter felt figures
-Instructions for assembly
-A list of the descriptive sentences that are pictured on each of the felt figures.

These fun Preschool Alphabet Finger Mitts are about 3 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide.
The descriptive sentances that come with the set have 5 things on each side of the mitt that start with each letter. For example, the capital letter, or upper case, letter A has the following descriptive sentence:
A- The amazing alligator ate an apple while doing aerobics.
The lower case, or small, letter "a" has this descriptive sentence:
a- The awesome airplane, piloted by an anteater, flew on an angle to Antarctica, and dropped an anchor.
I have started to use the Preschool Alphabet Finger Mitts as an activity my son can do to recognize his letters and practice the sounds that go with each one. He loves the fun colors and the cute pictures that each mitt has. It is also great for learning which Capital and lower case letters go together. He has so much fun trying to match them!
Another fun activity idea for these great Preschool Alphabet Finger Mitts is to have the children find other words or objects around the room that start with the same letter that you are working on. They can use names, shapes, colors, numbers, etc. This way they are finding an everyday application for their knowledge AND learning to spell lots of new words.
When you order the Preschool Alphabet Finger Mitts pre-cut and
assembled, they will come hot glued together as mitts. If you
choose the uncut option, they will come in a fig felt sheet and
you will need to cut them out. You can get them as 26 mitts or
52 figures.
"A Customer bought the Alphabet Mitts for her some because he was struggling with his ABC's. She kept them separate so he would do matching with them. She called me a week after she got them and said she couldn't believe how great they worked. Her son had learned all of his ABC's in one week."
