About Us
Awnya Maree' Boam- I was born in Idaho and I have lived in 29 different places including North Dakota, Utah, Michigan, Indiana, and currently in Arizona.
I am the mother of 3 beautiful children (2 boys and one girl). I love spending my days caring for and cleaning up after them. I have been married since 2001 to the love of my life, Jesse.
I have been with Story Time Felts since 2004 and love all the wonderful products that the company offers as well as the great home business! I love being able to be home with my kids, but am grateful to get out of the house once  and a while to work on my business.
I enjoy reading, movies, crocheting, sewing, making candy bouquets, cooking, and playing volleyball in my spare time. I first found Story Time Felts at a home party demonstration. When I walked into the room I was surprised by the great colors of the products and my son immediately wanted to play with it. After the demonstration I wanted to know more about the business opportunity. A few days later I signed up to become a distributor and have loved every minute since. Since moving to Arizona, my business has exploded! I have totally enjoyed watching people discover these great felt products for kids and I've loved seeing the joy in children's eyes when they are playing with our felt! I began this website (Time4Felt.com) in 2006 after many months of contemplation. At first it was just something fun to mess around with and now it is a hobby and I truly love to work on my site. I spend hours tweeking and writing content for the pages. I have learned to hand-code all the html (language that webpages are written in) and I'm sure I will continue to learn that for many years to come. Most recently, I've been growing my team of Story Time Felts Independent Consultants. I have loved having consultants under me to lead and to teach. It has been very rewarding to watch their successes and joy in each one as they have started their own home based businesses. I now that I have learned a lot being in the direct sales market and I have grown so much as a person. I would truly not be ther person I am today without Story Time Felts. Story Time Felts-
The Storyteller began in 1988 when Lori and Dale Whiting first saw printed felt products at a convention. The vivid colors and intricate detail amazed Lori. The felt visual aids she saw were so stunning that she just had to reach out and touch them. She knew that if she were that excited about the products, others would be too!
In 1992 the company headquarters was moved from Idaho to Salem, Utah. It is still located there today. In 1990, the company purchased its own heat transfer press.  This meant that the Story Teller could now design and print its own felt products-which is exactly what they did!
They are constantly adding new products to the ones they currently offer to address the ever-changing needs of children, parents, and educators. Most recently, in December of 2005, the company announced that they were changing their name to Story Time Felts. They believe that their primary mission should be placed on connecting with children and making a difference in their lives.
Our secondary mission is offering a great business opportunity, and this is best shared through personal contact and the telling of our individual stories.
