The stories that Aesop told in the 7th century BC were so well loved that
he was freed from slavery by his master. His tales bring to life
and teach valuable lessons that have become part of our culture.

each story has a song that tells the story and has the moral of
the story included in the lyrics. Some of the morals that are taught
are "There is no believing a liar, even when he tells the truth",
"There are always others worse off than you are", and "Be content
with what you have" along with many others.
