Felt Boards are invaluable tools for felt visual aids. All of our felt boards are mounted on 4mm corrugated plastic to allow for the most durability and allowing for washing without becoming soggy or molding. The felt boards come in 4 different sizes and for each size you can choose either Green, Purple, or Blue.
The Large felt board folds in the center to stand up and for easy portability. It is approximately 23 inches by 31 inches. This is a great size when you have a larger group you are telling stories or giving a demonstration to.
The large felt board is great for sitting on an easel, as a display, or to tell stories to larger groups. Because it is the largest felt board that we offer, it can be a little too big for smaller groups.
The Medium felt board is approximately 15 1/2 inches by 23 inches in size. I think that this is my favorite size of the different felt boards that we have. I love being able to hold it on my lap and still have room for the figures. I can also see around the board to be able to place the figures on the felt board in the places and order that I want to have them in.
The medium felt board is a great board for any of the Figures to Tell stories and easy to use when telling a story to 5 or 6 children at a time.
The
Small felt board is approximately 11 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches.
This board is one of the easiest to store because it is so small. My children
like the small felt board the most because it is "just their size".
The small felt board seems to be the one that they manage the best with their little hands. They are also able to carry it around a lot easier than the large or medium felt boards which is great for when mom is busy and then need to do it by themselves.
The Toggle Book is about 11 inches by 17 inches when it is opened up. When it is closed it is about 11 inches by 8 ½ inches. The corrugated plastic is sewn inside the felt and the very middle or "spine" is just fabric so that the book will bend and store more easily. This mini felt board is great for traveling or when you need
your kids to sit still for a little while. Try taking one to the dentist, doctor, church, in the car, or even for a quite time in your own house!
