Ammon felt Book of Mormon Story

Ammon felt Book of Mormon Story
Ammon is one of the 4 Sons of Mosiah from the Alma the Younger and the 4 Sons of Mosiah story. He has repented and gone as a missionary to the Lamanites. Follow him as he tries to teach the Lamanites the message of the gospel.

This Ammon felt Book of Mormon Story Set includes:
-17 felt figures
-Coloring page
-Story summary
-Scripture references

These felt figures range from 1 ½ inches to about 6 inches in size. They also tell the story of Ammon from Mosiah 27 to Alma 24 in the Book of Moron.

Soon after traveling into the land of the Lamanites, Ammon is discovered and his hands are bound while he is taken to the King of the Lamanites, King Lamoni. The king is pleased with Ammon and decides to appoint him as one of the servants who watch his sheep. Wicked Lamanites would scatter the flocks of the king's sheep and that would make the king angry.

To protect the sheep as well as his own life, Ammon used his sling and stones. When the wicked Lamanites tried to kill him, Ammon would cut off their arms. The other servants were so astonished that Ammon was not killed and that he was also able to resist all the evil men that came to hurt him. They took the arms to the King and told him what had happened.

King Lamoni believed that Ammon was the "Great Spirit" and was frightened. Ammon came and taught the gospel to the King. The King believed Ammon and was so filled with the Spirit that he passed out. He was unconscious for days and many believed he was dead. The Queen then spoke to Ammon and believed him when he said that the King would be alright the next day.

When the King arose, just as Ammon said he would, he proclaimed the gospel to his people and many believed his words. Ammon baptizes many of them. King Lamoni's father was also converted and then soon afterwards dies. The new king and the people decide not to fight anymore and buried their weapons of war as a symbol of their commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
