You will need: -pudding (any flavor) -milk -empty film canisters (washed) or baby food jars place a Tablespoon of pudding in each jar and then some milk. Place lids on securely. Have you little ones "bunny hop" around shaking the container for about 5 minutes. Sing a song, listen to music, or say a rhyme to help the time pass. After you are done hopping, open up the containers to see what "magically" happened while you were hopping. Eat and enjoy. (Film canisters are safe to use so long as you wash them after getting them from the store. Most film-developing stores have these for free, so just call ahead to have them save them for you.) While driving in the car it is fun to look for the letters of the alphabet. You can try to find the letters on signs, other cars and trucks, or on buildings. You can find them in order or write the whole alphabet down and cross them off as you see them in any order. See how can finish the alphabet first! You will need: -shells from colored easter eggs -plaster of paris or another kind of mortar -apron -jewels or other pretty, shiny stones, beads or rocks (optional) Put the apron on. Take the mortar and place it in a foil pie tin or disposable baking dish. You can also use a paper plate. Make the top flat. Take the crushed up easter egg shells and use them to create a pretty work or art or mosaic. Use the beads, or other pretty things to help decorate. Let the mortar or plaster of paris dry for at least a week after finished. Remove from tin or baking dish. You can now use it as a paperweight, stepping stone (outside), or decoration. Kids love using the shells again from the easter eggs they colored. Visit your local library and check out the book "The Great Kapok Tree" by Lynne Cherry, "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling, or on of the three "Anansi Tales" by Gerald McDermott and read them with a parent or by yourself. Then use the Story Time Felts pieces to tell the stories again from memory. Use the extra papers that come with the set to tell other stories with the same pieces or make up a story of your own. To get your own "Rain Forest Set" Story Time Felts set visit Our Catalog for more information.
