As kids play out these stories through dramatic play, they are learning. Since they are acting as these animals, it is easy to lean the concepts and it is more effective than lecturing or preaching. It is fun to pretend and play with friends or to prepare a play (either one that comes with the Forest Animal Puppets set or one you make up on your own) for your family or friends. Take turns putting on the show.

You can also use the Forest Animal Puppets to play out different situations. If your child is struggling with a bully at school or with a brother or sister at home, try to play out different solutions to the problem with the Forest Animal Puppets. Kids will often times open up more when using something like puppets or dolls to work out a scenario.

I recommend the Forest Animal Puppets for kids ages 18 months to 9 years old.

For more fun, at the end of each story have the audience guess what the lesson (or moral) is. It is fun to hear what each person gets out of each story.
