Your little "shinning star" will feel great when they can display the jobs they've completed so well!
Kid Job or Chore Chart includes:
- 15 felt figures
- star background
- Velcro
The 15 felt figures depict children doing chores or personal hygiene tasks. Each star background contains 5 circle spots to place completed tasks on. The star background is mounted on corrugated plastic and measures 14 inches by 10 inches.
Display the tasks you want your child to accomplish on the table or counter. As they finish each joy, mom or dad can give them the job circle to do and display on the Kid Job or Chore Chart. Kids then get recognized for what they have finished and for a job well done. There are tasks for kids of all ages. Jobs like washing dishes, doing homework, vacuuming, folding laundry, cleaning up toys, and taking out the trash are included.
Make chore time a game by seeing how quickly they can finish each task. If you have 2 kids they can race to finish the jobs or have your child race you! When you make chore time fun, the work goes faster. You can try singing a song or humming a tune as well.
When your child has completed the jobs you have given them you can reward them with something fun. A sticker, piece of candy, a few minutes of TV, or a movie work great... or let them play with their favorite felt set.
If there are jobs or tasks that your child needs to do that aren't
one of the ones we have pictured, try tracing around one of the
felt circles on a piece of cardboard or card stock. Draw a picture
or write what they need to do on the new circle you have made.
Then laminate the circle and put Velcro on the back. You now have
a new circle that your child can earn!
For even more fun, you can get the Kid Job or Chore Chart customized with your child's name or family name.
Examples of customized messages are:
- Joe's Jobs
- Lisa's Chores
- JCB Chore chart
- Job Chart
- Crane Job chart
This is a fun and great way to keep the Kid Job or Chore Chart separate for different kids!
I recommend the Kid Job or Chore Chart for kids ages 3 and up.
*The Kid Job or Chore Chart is specifically recommended by Sunday School Teachers
and Parents to Special Needs Children
for your child.
See what else they recommend and why.
