You will need: -Tin Foil -Carrots -Potatoes -Onions -Seasonings -Ground beef -Bacon (optional) Cook the Ground beef and the bacon. Cut up the carrots, potatoes, and onions. Place the cooked meat into a large sheet of tin foil. Place the vegetables around and on top of the meat. Season to taste. Seal the meal up inside the tin foil being sure the edges are sealed well. Place the meal on a cookie sheet and place in 350-degree oven. Cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the vegetables are as tender as you would like. Eat and enjoy. To make from scratch you will need: -1 egg -1 Tablespoon sugar -3/4 cup milk -2 teaspoons vegetable oil or melted butter or margarine -1 cup flour -3 teaspoons baking powder -1/2 teaspoon salt Beat Egg until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. For thinner pancakes add up to 1/4 cup more milk. Grease heated griddle if necessary. Cook the pancakes until puffed up and dry around the edges. Flip and cook till golden brown. Makes about nine 4-inch pancakes. For Shaped Pancakes place a greased metal cookie cutter on the griddle and pour the batter into the cookie cutter (the griddle will melt plastic ones, so be sure to use metal.) When the 1st side is done remove the cookie cutter and turn the pancake. Recipe taken from "Betty Crocker's Cookbook" 1981 Edition, by Golden Books Publishing.
-Buttermilk Syrup-
You will need: -1 cup sugar -1/2 cup buttermilk -1 cube butter -1/2 teaspoon baking soda -1 teaspoon vanilla Bring the sugar, buttermilk, and butter to a boil in a saucepan on the stove.
