Mormon and Moroni Felt Book of Mormon Story

Mormon and Moroni felt
Story

The Nephite people have become very wicked and after years of war, very few Nephites remain. Mormon and Moroni are 2 of the few remaining Nephites.

The Mormon and Moroni Felt Book of Mormon Story includes the following:
-12 felt figures
-Story summary
-Scripture References
-Coloring pages

The felt figures range from 4 inches to 7 inches tall and the story of Mormon and Moroni can be found from 4th Nephi chapter 1 to Ether chapter 4 in the Book of Mormon.

The country has been torn up by war that has continued for many years between the Nephites and the Lamanites. Mormon has taken the golden plates, which were entrusted to his care by Ammaron, and he has abridged them into what we now know as the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Mormon then keeps an account of the wars and happenings in the land.

With only 24 Nephites left, Mormon gives the plates to Moroni before battle the next day. Moroni escapes destruction but is forced to hide to save his life. The Lamanites search the lands to find the last of the Nephites to destroy. While in hiding, Moroni abridges the writings of Ether, which tells the story of the Brother of Jared and their descendants.

Moroni observes the Lamanites and records them. He then hides the plates in the side of a hill. These are the golden plates which are later given to Joseph Smith by the angel Moroni.

This fun, felt set of Mormon and Moroni will help you be able to tell this story from the Book of Mormon. Using felt is a great way to involve children in the story. The bright, colorful, felt figures will bring the stories to life and help commit them to memory.

The Mormon and Moroni felt story is great for Family Home Evenings (FHE), church lessons, primary talks, sharing time, scripture study, as something to entertain the kids during sacrament meeting, or as a Sunday activity.
