The pages of the Cars and Trucks Activity Book are about 9 inches by 22 inches and the size of the felt figures vary.
The Cars and Trucks Activity Book has so many fun modes of transportation to entertain. The felt figures are colorful and eye-catching. You can use the people felt figures to discuss possible careers to peruse when you kids "grow up". You can also talk about what jobs people do.
There are hot air balloons, trucks, cars, buses, train, cars, and boats in the Cars and Trucks Activity Book. Tractors, a UPS truck, 4 wheeler, and jet ski as all. Use these great Cars and Trucks figures to count and for basic math.
This Cars and Trucks Activity Book can be assembled in either of 2 ways when you order the precut version. Number 1 is the book in scenery form. This option allows you to have 4 different play scenes as a mat for the floor or you can mount them on hard board or corrugated plastic to use as 4 felt boards (mounting not included in price of the set). Option number 2 is in book form. This way the book opens to show the full scene on the left and right pages then all 4 scenes are bound together in the center to open as a book. This way makes the Cars and Trucks Activity Book very portable and great for on the go play. Be sure to specify if you have a preference when ordering. When choosing the uncut version, some cutting and assembly will be required.
For older children you can discuss the different areas pictured. Talk about their differences and similarities. Discuss the diversity of the lifestyles in each area.
Use the figures to make up a story about one of the people felt figures. Take turns telling what happens next in the story. Try to act it out with the felt figures or each other.
