The sons of the Anti-Nephi-Lehites come forward and volunteer to defend their fathers (who had made a covenant with the Lord not to fight again) and families. Because of their young age they are called the sons of Helaman. They create a plan and are able to defeat the Lamanite Army without a single young, stripling warrior dying.
The brother of Jared and his family are leaving the land of Jerusalem. They have come to the sea and built barges to cross the ocean with. Inside of the barges there is no light. The brother of Jared seeks the guidance of the Lord to solve his problem.
